Emily De Margheriti is an award-winning Australian actress based in Los Angeles, with a vibrant career that spans both film and theatre. Frequently traveling to Australia for projects, Emily has earned critical acclaim for her performances in a variety of genres.

Her notable film credits include the horror feature SISSY (2022), which holds a remarkable 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and earned her multiple AACTA nominations, including Best Lead Actress. In EXO-226, Emily’s outstanding portrayal secured her the title of Best Lead Actress and contributed to the film winning Best Film at the What the Film Festival. Other notable films include I Hate Kids (2019), where she starred alongside Tom Everett Scott and Tituss Burgess, and Ladies in Black (2018), a celebrated dramedy directed by Bruce Beresford.

Emily’s stage work is equally impressive. She produced and starred in The North Plan at LA’s Sherry Theatre, where her lead role as 'Tanya' earned her a nomination for Best Lead Actress in the Valley Theatre Awards. The production itself was recognized with a Best Director award and a nomination for Best Play by Broadway World.

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Emily completed her Bachelor of Performing Arts in 2016. Her foundation in the performing arts was further enriched by studies at Brent Street's Cert IV in Performing Arts Course and the Canberra Dance Development Centre's Vocational Dance Program.
